      Expo je treća najveća svetska manifestacija, sa ekonomskog stanovišta, odmah posle Svetskog prvenstva u fudbalu i Olimpijskih igara. Prva Expo izložba održana je u Londonu, davne 1851, pod pokroviteljstvom Princa Alberta i Kraljice Viktorije, a za tu priliku je izgrađena čuvena Kristalna palata u Hajd parku. Za Expo su podignuti i Ajfelova kula, Paris Expo 1889, Atomium u Briselu 1958, Space Needle u Seattle-u 1962 i niz drugih građevina koje su gotovo uvek simboli svojih gradova.
      Srbija učestvuje prvi put na svetskoj izložbi i predstaviće se radom "Kôd grada", mladih arhitekata Natalije Miodragović i Darka Kovačeva.       The main attractions at the World Fair/Expo are the national pavilions, created by participating countries that are representing their accomplishments and tradition.
      Expo is, from the economic point of view, the third largest world event, right behind the Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup. The very first Expo was held in London in 1851, under the patronage of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Famous Crystal Palace in Hyde Park was built for that occasion. Many great structures were built for Expo, such as: The Eiffel Tower, Paris; Atomium, Brussels; Space Needle, Seattle; and many others structures which are now landmarks of their cities.
      Serbia is participating for the first time on this World Fair and will be presented with the work called "City code" created by two young architects, Natalija Miodragović and Darko Kovačev.
